More than 446 Meyer Sound Speakers distributed over the 7km Doha Corniche and other locations was used to power the grand and colorful Military Parade during Qatar National Day Celebrations. TechnoPro, a Dubai based technical events production company with a branch in Qatar supplied and operated all the Meyer Sound Speaker System for the prestigious event.

The military parade is a show of the country’s military power , featured  fighter planes, battle tanks, armored personnel carriers, rocket launchers, anti-aircraft guns, infantry vehicles, surveillance equipment, coastguard vessels, anti-pirate frigates, interceptors, fire engines, monitoring and communication vehicles,  and  a march past featuring  the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guards, Internal Security Force, Civil Defence, Police, cadets of training institutes and other academies, as well as scouts and schoolchildren.

The occasion was presided over by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Heir Apparent, as well as a host of dignitaries, visitors, and crowds.

In this occasion from 14-18 December 2011, the largest quantity of Meyer Sound System ever used in one single event in the region was seen along the Doha corniche and other various locations.
